Curtains
Our curtains are hand sewn in our work room by a team of curtain makers with over 80 years combined experience in making bespoke curtains. There really are no limits to what we can make for you, from lined and interlined curtains with pinch pleat headings through to shaped pelmets and lambrequins.
Fabric
Our knowledge and experience of working with both domestic and contract fabrics means we can advise you as to the suitability of a fabric for a particular application or treatment. Our Interior Design clients specify and supply their own fabrics, but if you’re a domestic customer after help and advice on fabric selection we have accounts with all the major fabric suppliers, and many niche suppliers too!
Lining
We stock all lining alternatives – from 100% cotton sateen through to blackout, in every shade from the most popular white and ivory through to coloured alternatives.
Interlining
Serves two purposes – it helps the face fabric and lining to hang well together. It provides an added thermal dimension (which is so invaluable in those cold winter months), and it also gives your curtains that added feeling of opulence. We stock all the typical interlinings you will find on the market – from light weight through to heavy weight, and synthetic as well as natural.
Don’t worry if the options all sound a bit perplexing. We’re here to help advise you what lining or interlining (and combination) would work best for your intended curtain application.
I must say the job you have done is exceptional. Everything fits so perfectly and the quality of the make up of the curtains really stands out! Thank you very much…we are so glad we found you as the alternative [major high street retailer] would have been an expensive mess. Pablo S, North London
Curtain headings
We can make curtains to any heading style and depth – from the most popular double and triple pinch pleat through to goblet and cartridge, pencil pleat and eyelet. We are also one of the market leaders at producing lined and interlined curtains with the fabulous, contemporary wave style heading.
Sheer Curtains
If you want your curtains to afford you privacy during the day whilst still letting in light, you might consider unlined sheer curtains, which we typically make in pinch pleat or pencil pleat headings.
