Pelmets
Classic curtains take their cue from traditional styles and structures, and pelmets exemplify and accentuate that traditional, opulent look. Swags and tails proliferated a couple of decades ago and have in all but the most traditional, period properties, made way for more contemporary alternatives such as the box or straight pelmet. Remember though, pelmets are as functional as they are aesthetic.
