There are various blinds that would fit this kind of window and you might first want to check whether the window manufacturer has their own range. Velux for example has a range of blinds (blackout, roller, flying pleated, venetian) that are specially designed to fit into the actual window casement itself. You take the window code off the actual window and this tells them the size of your window. These blind systems are perhaps a little functional, so if you're after something a little more cosy/characterful to fit on the outside of the window recess, and the slant of your window/ ceiling isn't too great, you could go for a roman blind that's specially designed to work on sloping ceilings - see our <a href="http://moghulinteriors.com/blog/?p=198" rel="nofollow">blog on these systems</a> .
